Bold Predictions for the weekend

NBA:

The Lakers will win the Western Conference. The Celts will win the East. The addition of Gasol will improve Los Angeles from a consistantly good team to a potential NBA Champion.

NFL:

The Pats won't win the AFC next season. That'll be a team from down south that plays like their from the north. The Jacksonville Jaguars. Their running game will only get better and with the new found star in Garrard at quarterback there will be no stopping these guys. Not even a Manning.

MLB:

The Yankees will finally play up to their Exxon-worthy salary. The will win the American League and will go on to play in their oh so familiar World Series game.

NCAABB:

The Kentucky Wildcats will make the NCAA tournament. Winning the SEC tournament is an automatic bid to the dance and that's exactly what will happen. Yes, I realize I'm insane. No need to point that out.

NCAAFB:

Tim Tebow will not win the Heisman his Junior season. It will go to a fella on what will be the best team in the country...the Georgia Bulldogs. Matt Stafford and Knowshon Moreno will both be candidates, but depending on Richt's offensive mindset, one will pull away from the other.

MLS:

They will set records for number of game attendees.

NHL:

Strike the previous prediction. He bought Hockey tickets this year.
