You're a Joke, Djokovic

The punny title you can pardon. The bowing out of a major tournament you can't. Under any circumstances. So when 3rd ranked Novak Djokovic excused himself from the Australian Open we all thought, collectively, "what a joke!" Andy Roddick's performance should be commended through all of this nonsense, though. Roddick played through the 140-degree heat that Djokovic deemed unplayable. Watch for a recently recommited Roddick to have a successful end to his season.

Kentucky Basketball Report:

Ramon Harris will play tonight at Ole Miss. Harris has had a notably tumultous season. In an attempt to re-new his carreer, he's changed his number from the usual 22 to a new #5. Look for the Wildcats to win by 15+ tonight in a route of an overmatched Ole Miss team.

Backmasking - A Hoax?

A thing of the 70's? A lie of the 70's? I always thought so. But THIS website may have changed my mind.

Created by Jeff Milner, while experimenting with a Flash program, this site allows you to listen to to original segment of song and then the "reverse track."

Some of the songs in question are a bit fishy as far as the accuracy of the supposed lyrics, but others are dead on (hence - the intentional ones).

Back in the day, this was a big issue. People, specifically Bible Belt, Anti-Rock Music pastors said that this was Satan's way of getting involved in our lives and sending subliminal messages. Personally, I think that may be a little too much, but weird none the less.

Check it out! And I expect to be the "Klick of the week," Kay!

Bruce Lee VS. Chuck Norris

Who knew this battle even occurred? I would'a thought that this would have made national headlines. But in the spirit of Kay's Animal Face-Off bit, I felt this had to be shared.

LINK

Just a few times in the video I'd like to point out:

2:47

3:16

5:03

And finally, 8:04-8:30 when Bruce seals the deal.

Is this the outcome you'd have expected?

What American accent do you have?

Take THIS short quiz to find out...

It turns out that I have a Midland Accent, which as they say, is like really not having an accent at all. This makes sense seeing as I was born, and currently reside, in Central Kentucky which I assume could be considered Midland. Would'a thought I'd had more Southern in there, but apparently not.

Take the quiz, find out, and share your results...y'all.

First thing that comes to mind...Al Gore

I know that people differ in opinions in regards to Al Gore. But he's someone that everyone either loves or hates. The same could be said about our current president, George W. Bush.

So my question is...when either of these to...uhhhhhh...distinguished gentlemen come to mind, what are your thoughts? Expressed in one sentence.

For me, when I think of Al Gore I think of a recent newspaper headline: Cold Front Rocks South

Parlez-Vous Francais?

In my weekly scouring of YouTube for something worth watching, I found a VIDEO from one of my favorite comedy acts. Flight of the Conchords.

In this video, the guys meet some girls and impress them with their certain, well, je ne sais quoi.

On another note, in an effort to show my sympathy towards Duke fans, I will add THIS video to this weeks list. Enjoy the moment!

This next ONE just kills me. In a classic Price is Right moment, a young fella named Jose makes a blunder. Was he bidding in pesos? We'll probably never know. All I can say is, CBS sure knows how to pick the kooks.

Enjoy!
